The region’s premier award ceremony, The Derby Telegraph Business Awards, are set to get yet another boost with the announcement that global provider of people assessment tools, Thomas International, are backing the awards by becoming the headline sponsor.
By also throwing their hat into the ring as headline sponsors, the company has untapped access to benefits the sponsorship brings including enviable networking opportunities and mass brand exposure.
The sponsorship also allows Thomas International to further showcase their continuous commitment to supporting businesses in developing their individuals and teams performance– something they have been at the forefront of since 1981.
It’s clear the benefits becoming a headline sponsor brings, but Ciaran Morton, the UK Managing Director of Thomas International, was also keen to explain what the region gains from the awards. He said:
“The awards bring together Derbyshire’s business community and provide a unique opportunity for businesses in the region to network, celebrate success, share values and learn from each other.”
“Not only do the awards provide a fantastic platform for winners and nominees to promote the achievements of their businesses, they also provide an opportunity for business owners and staff to nurture relationships and grow partnerships in the region.”
This sense of community spirit is what positions the Derby Telegraph Business Awards as a leading business award ceremony.
Ciaran joined in on praising the togetherness of the region’s business community and relayed the reasons he believes it’s important for businesses to celebrate other businesses. He said:
“In today’s demanding and competitive market, it is often easy to forget to take the time to celebrate and appreciate the fantastic achievements of both our own businesses and others in the local community. Derbyshire is fortunate to be home to many key industries and subsequently an exciting mix of businesses.
“Having the opportunity for everyone to come together to share success and celebrate everything that is great about business in the region is hugely important, both to encourage continued success and growth but also to build relationships within the local business community.”
